Thredbo Resort has announced a strong lineup of concerts for the 2023 summer season.

In addition to the Thredbo Blues Festival, the resort will host a series of free concerts as part of the Thredbo Music Series.

Thredbo Blues Festival Returns in Full

The Thredbo Blues Festival returns for its 28th instalment in 2023, taking place from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th January. Following a successful return of the festival in 2022 – albeit with strict Covid restrictions in place – the organisers are looking forward to the festival returning to its full, intimate Blues Party with its up-close and personal two hour sets.

The artist lineup will be truly spectacular – a multi-headlining affair : Nathan Cavaleri, Mal Eastick’s Review, Karen Lee Andrews, Blues Power (Simon Kinny Lewis & Darren Jack Band), Dom Turner and the Rural Blues Project.

Tickets are now on sale, with three day weekend passes available for purchase from Thredbo Resort. Children under 14 years are free.

Four Free Concerts in Thredbo Music Series

The Thredbo Music Series also returns, launching the first of four free concerts on New Year’s Eve, when Got Soul Collective bring their fusion of soul and funk mixed with all your favourite pop tunes.

On Saturday 7 January, INXS tribute band Live Baby Live will rock the resort! If their 2022 performance at Jindabyne’s This is Just a Tribute Festival is anything to go by, their performance is Australia’s premier rendition of one of the most iconic bands in Australian history.

The following week on January 14, Thredbo welcomes Ash Grunwald. With six top 50 albums and two APRA Awards, he is one of Australia’s most successful blues musicians ever. Grunwald is set to take over the Alpine Bar with an intimate and laid back gig throughout the afternoon & evening.

Thredbo Music Series concludes on February 18 with a bang – Northeast Party House are bringing a DJ set to Thredbo, adding this slot to their prolific touring schedule.
