THREDBO MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK
Thredbo Mountain Bike Park is home to some of the best alpine riding in the country. Take your riding to the next level with a team of qualified guides. There’s chairlift accessed gravity trails, skills parks for all ages, plus a network of cross-country trails perfect for a family bike ride. You can enjoy riding your bike through the Thredbo Mountain Bike Park, which serves first-timers up to professional racers.
AusCycling XC National Championships
Thredbo Resort is partnering with AusCycling to bring the 2023 National MTB Championships to the Thredbo Mountain Bike Park for the first time in decades! The National Championships will be combined with the Cannonball MTB Festival presented by Boost Mobile to create 10 days of non-stop racing! Learn more about the event here.
Cannonball MTB Festival presented by Boost Mobile
Featuring the 2023 AusCycling Australian National Championships. The pinnacle of MTB competition returns in 2023 with 5 days of nonstop racing and good times! Five massive events, categories for all ages & abilities PLUS a prize of over $100k makes Cannonball a must-do on any mountain bikers bucket list.
The national championship events for Downhill and Pump Track will be merged with the Cannonball events! One winner will take out both titles in a singular race! Check out FAQs here.

HIKING

GONDOLA & CHAIRLIFT
Whether you prefer hiking, mountain biking, or soaking up stunning mountain views, riding Thredbo’s lifts is a must-do in summer. Take the Kosciuszko Express Chairlift to the top for incredible alpine vistas, Eagles Nest Restaurant, and the start of Thredbo’s alpine hiking tracks, including the walkway to Mt Kosciuszko Summit.

KIDS SUMMER ADVENTURE FESTIVAL
Let the kids run free in Thredbo!
The Kids Summer Adventure Festival combines all the best parts of outdoor recreation in the Snowy Mountains with a range of indoor activities to keep your kids occupied this summer. There’s something for all ages! From treasure hunts to arts and crafts, rock climbing, and face painting, the whole family will have a fantastic time.
Cruiser Mountain Bike Area is the newest this season. Perfect spot for young riders and families as an introduction to gravity mountain biking.
Hike with the family to the top of Mt Kosciuszko and stand on the roof of Australia. Stop and smell the wildflowers. Experience the magical wildflower bloom that carpets the alps from December to late February.

MUSIC FESTIVALS
Thredbo has the goods when it comes to live entertainment all season long.
Thredbo Music Festival
An entire weekend of entertainment with over 60 performances and 20 artists. The village has been hosted yearly for over ten years and is a unique venue set against the stunning mountainous backdrop. The 2023 festival is on 27-29 January 2023.
This is Just a Tribute
Set in the stunning Snowy Mountains on the shores of Lake Jindabyne. Get the crew together, dress up and celebrate the music you love! Celebrating the bands and iconic songs you grew up with and a perfect music event to close out the Summer with your family and friends.

LAKE LIGHT SCULPTURE
An inspiring outdoor sculpture exhibition – held each Easter on Lake Jindabyne’s foreshore in the stunning NSW Snowy Mountains. The 2022 event was canceled due to unexpected high water levels on the event site. However, they are hopeful it will resume in 2023, along with an online exhibition.
