We collect and hold information that is reasonably necessary for the execution of our duties as an accommodation provider. We may collect information from:
- Members & Guest – Any person who makes a booking, stays at, or uses the accommodation and services provided by us
- Employee – An individual employed by us in any capacity, including full-time, part-time, casual, or contract roles.
- Other Parties – Individuals or entities such as suppliers, contractors, or business partners who interact with us for operational or service-related purposes.
Kinds of Information We Collect & Hold
We may collect and retain the following personal information:
- Members & Guests: Name, contact details, identification details, booking history, and preferences.
- Employees: Name, contact details, tax file number (TFN), bank details, employment history, and other necessary HR records.
- Other Parties: Supplier or contractor details necessary for business operations.
How We Collect Information
We collect information directly from individuals through:
- Booking forms, online reservations via website or third-party booking platforms, and check-in/check-out processes
- Employment applications and contracts
- Email, phone, or in-person interactions
- CCTV footage (for security purposes)

Storage of Booking and Payment Information
- Guest Booking Information: Stored in Zoho, a cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Data is hosted on secure servers and protected in accordance with the Zoho’s Data Security and Privacy policies.
- Member & Guest Payment Information: We do not collect banking or credit card details. Instead, we use a third-party service provider, Commonwealth Bank, to manage financial transactions.
- Employee Payroll & Contractor Payments: Stored in Xero, a cloud-based accounting software. Data is hosted on secure servers and protected in accordance with Xero’s Security and Privacy
Accessing and Correcting Your Information
You have the right to access and correct your personal information held by us. If you wish to access or correct your personal information, please contact us at bookings@boali.com.au.
CCTV and Security Monitoring
For security purposes, we may use CCTV cameras in public areas. Footage is stored securely and accessed only when necessary.
